Since 1982, Mayer Tool & Engineering, Inc. has built a well-known reputation for designing and building quality injection molds for the plastics industry. Today, our commitment to quality is greater than ever. In September of 2000, Mayer Tool & Engineering received Certification of our Quality Management System and is registered by NSF-ISR to ISO 9001 Quality Systems.
Offshore tooling
Mayer Tool & Engineering is capable and ready to handle all of your offshore tooling needs. Providing an offshore build option allows the customer an additional choice to meet their molding needs. We can also service your lead time variances by providing Ex-work, DAP by sea, and DAP by air pricing.
SAMPLING / LOW VOLUME PRODUCTION CAPABILITIES
MTE has the capability and capacity to handle complete mold sampling on 99% of the molds we build in house and offshore. We pride ourselves on our high-quality sample presses to simulate actual production runs as well conduct low volume production molding in house. Check out our molding machines in our equipment list!
Engineering insight
Our engineering department is equipped with extensive CAD/CAM capabilities including 2D and 3D design, Solid Modeling, Tool Pathing, and Tool Path Verification.

File types
We can work from piece part drawings, 3D wireframe, surfaced files, or solid files. A wide variety of CAD formats can be imported and exported by receiving them via email or by uploading larger files to our FTP site.
